Directions to Domaine Gruss
Driving time (using motorway): Calais ~ 6½hrs; Le Havre ~ 7hrs; Zeebrugge ~ 6½hrs
› Motorway via Reims, Metz and Nancy.
› When you are on the road to St Dié, you have a choice: you can either go over the Col de Bonhomme to Kaysersberg (very pretty, but not recommended in the snow!) – or take the tunnel (toll) to Sainte Marie-aux-Mines and follow the main road to Sélestat and then south towards Colmar.
› Then head for the N83 which is the main road to Belfort, skirting Colmar to the west.
› Follow the signs off this road into Eguisheim.
› Domaine Gruss is on the main street opposite the Auberge Alsacienne.
› Drive through the (impressive) wrought iron gates and park in the courtyard.
