Visiting your vineyard
One of the best things about renting a row of vines is visiting your vineyard and meeting the man – or woman – who actually makes the wine.
It doesn’t matter whether you’re a novice or a wine buff, visiting your vineyard is always a memorable experience. You’ll receive a warm welcome from your winemaker, learn about the winemaking process – and of course, taste the wine!
France’s wine-growing regions are in some of the most inspiring countryside, with the richest cultural heritage in the world, so when you’ve collected your wine, why not stay a while and explore?
It’s all part of the service, so let us do the work
It’s vital that you book your visit to ensure that someone is available to welcome you, and that your wine is ready for collection. We’re happy to do this for you – we have up-to-date details of your winemaker’s holiday dates and any recent changes to his visiting times, so we can check that your proposed date is possible.
- Visits on Sundays, National Holidays and at lunchtimes (1200 – 1400) are not possible.
- During the harvest (usually 2 weeks at the end of September/beginning of October) the family will be particularly busy and may not have time to show you round or give you a tasting.
To avoid disappointment, please book your vineyard visit before making your travel arrangements!
