When we mentioned that we were looking for a second vineyard in Alsace, one of our Burgundy suppliers, Fernand Chevrot, said: "Go and see Bernard Gruss, I was at wine college with him, his wine is excellent." As we all know, word of mouth is the best recommendation, so on our next visit we looked him up - and were very impressed. Fernand had already told him about 3D Wines and Bernard and his wife gave us a warm welcome. We were then introduced to their charming son André who enthusiastically showed us around.

The domaine is in the centre of the picturesque village of Eguisheim, has big, impressive wrought iron gates, an immaculate courtyard full of flowers - and delicious wine. Several visits later we were able to confirm that André would make two unique wines exclusively for Partners.

As a Partner at Domaine Gruss your allocation of wine is:

• Riesling Les Prélats (white)
  2 cases (24 bottles) maximum

• Gewürztraminer Vieilles Vignes (white)
  2 cases (24 bottles) maximum

Your wine is available in June each year; Partners joining after May 1st in any year will receive their Option the following year.
