Anjou rouge Les Noëlles
For our red Anjou Les Noëlles a small percentage of Merlot (up to 10% depending on the assemblage each year) is usually added to equal parts of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, giving a medium-bodied, fruity wine with a distinctive blackcurrant and raspberry bouquet. It has good balance and soft tannins, which, with the ripe fruit on the palate, make it a mouth-watering red - as at home with pasta in a tomato and garlic sauce as with red or white meats.
Crémant de Loire rosé Cuvée Esprit de Sophie
Our exciting new and exclusive addition to the 3D range, is our superb Crémant de Loire rosé called Cuvée Esprit de Sophie (after Georges’ daughter). The Crémant is a blend of 40% Cabernet Franc, 30% Grolleau and 30% Chenin Blanc and has been aged on its lees for 12 months. It is as effervescent as Georges himself and he describes it as a real beauty! It has a lovely deep salmon colour and is splendidly aromatic with an enticing mix of citrus and red fruit flavours. The finish is crisp and long.
