3D Wine Festival

For those who make the annual pilgrimage to Épernay each year to join us for our Cave Ouverte in the cellars at Maison Lenique in Champagne, you’ll know what a pleasurable day it is, sampling wine and meeting and talking to many of our winemakers.

Having been asked on numerous occasions about the potential for holding such an event in the UK we were pleased that this idea finally become a reality and the first UK wine festival took place on Saturday 1 March at Denbies Wine Estate in Dorking, Surrey, and it was a sell out. 

For the first time our winemakers all came en masse to meet Partners, and shared a bon moment over a glass of wine. There were over 100 different wines to taste, as well as tasting workshops, an English blind-tasting challenge with some very amusing results (even some of the winemakers didn't correctly spot the 'English' wine), a quiz with some rather challenging questions - and general merriment all round!

It was a great success so thanks to all of you.
