Spring 2008: Domaine Michel-Andreotti is located in the heart of the Côte Chalonnaise, so could make an ideal, tranquil stopping point. There are plenty of nearby attractions and walking trails, the Voie Verte (a scenic path for cyclists and walkers along the old railway line), the lakes at Laives (17km), Château de Cormatin (25km), Chalon-sur-Saône (20km) and of course Beaune (45km).  The gîte is priced at €340/week, €100/weekend (peak times), and is situated in the domaine with an area for alfresco dining. Spring 2006: Congratulations to Philippe and Arlette, who have just won a Gold Medal for the 2004 vintage of their Montagny Premier Cru at the annual competition for the wines of the Côte Chalonnaise.
