Winter 2007: For the fifth year in a row, the Jacobs have won le Prix d'Excellence presented by the Syndicat pour la Défense des Vins des Hautes Côtes for their red and white Hautes Côtes de Beaune 2005.

Autumn 2006: Jean-Michel was invited to the International Pinot Noir Conference’s 20th edition in Oregon, USA, for the second time. He hosted a dinner at an Oregon winemaker’s estate, led a tour for Pinot Noir enthusiasts and gave a lecture on the differences in winemaking styles between Burgundy and Oregon. Jean-Michel and Christine also presented a range of their wines which were very well received.

Summer 2006: Jean-Michel and Christine Jacob’s prestigious premier cru Les Avaux - which is reserved exclusively for 3D Wines’ Partners - received a top class write-up for their 2003 vintage in Bourgogne Aujourd’hui, the leading French magazine for the wines and vineyards in Burgundy. In true French descriptive style the wine was described to have “fine aromas and great expression from beautiful bottles.”
