Summer 2006: Pierre and Jacqueline Riffault’s son, Bertrand, has decided to join them running their domaine which produces our wonderful award-winning Sancerre. Following his Sociology degree at the University of Tours, Bertrand has also completed a BST vine growing technology course. Pierre and Jacqueline are delighted to pass responsibility to their son, as it will mean that they can "take a few days holiday from time to time".

Winter 2007: Pierre has told us that the 2008 edition of Hachette, the top independent French wine guide, has included both their Sancerre blanc 2006 and Sancerre rouge 2005.

Their 2006 vintage of Sancerre blanc has been awarded a Gold Medal at the Concours des Vins de Bourges.
