Spring 2007: Bernard and Christine’s Morgon 2005, which is this years Option wine, has been awarded a Bronze Medal at the Concours des Grands Vins de France – the official competition for the wines of Beaujolais and the Mâconnais, held in Mâcon each year. The same vintage also has also been reward two stars in Hachette, the most comprehensive and respected independent French wine guide, along with a very complimentary write up.

 

Bernard and Christine’s son, Thomas, has joined the domaine and will be taking responsibility for their sales and marketing. He will also be assisting Bernard with the winemaking – and we are assured he will not be spared the hard work in the vines either.

 

Autumn 2006: Bernard and Christine’s son, Thomas, has returned from Australia after three months of winemaking upside down! Thomas will now play a vital part of the running of the domaine - so you are likely to get to meet him when visiting. He’ll also be representing the domaine at 3D Wines’ Cave Ouverte in November.
