Bordeaux 2010. Is it another vintage of the century? (following on from the 2009 'vintage of the century').

Well, actually yes ... if you believe the critics and experts. It was a 'modern classic' with the precision and purity of 2005 and the appeal of 2009. They are wines that have more structure - acidity and tannin - and great ageing potential. In general it is a terrific 'Cabernet' vintage (especially Cabernet Franc). I can't wait to taste ours.

Here are our Father and Son duo, Régis and Jerome Bernaleau, at Château Mongravey in Margaux. This year we released our lovely Margaux blend from the 2007 vintage - so we have a few more years to wait until we release the 2009 and 2010s.  However, we released our Château Rousselle Côtes de Bourg 2009 this year and next year it will be the turn of Château Monconseil-Gazin and Château de la Grave.
