Suppliers Conference 2006
This year our annual gathering of 3D Winemakers took place in the charming town of Chinon. It is a truly impressive place to visit and we were lucky to have fantastic views of the monumental castle gazing over the small medieval streets and half-timbered town houses - all reflecting into the magnificent river Vienne.
One thing we didn’t expect was snow - for the first time in ten years Chinon was covered with a thick white blanket of snow. Of course this caused problems for some of our winemakers who were travelling from the more northerly parts of France, but the majority attended, and as always it proved to be a great chance for us to let everyone know what we’re up to, our plans for 2006 and, bien sur, sample some wine.
