Events programme update
We have made a few changes to our programme of events for 2007. Many of you have mentioned that you prefer a slightly shorter event, so we have modified three of our established weekends – Alsace, Chablis and the Loire – from three nights to two. The good news is that we’ll be keeping almost as many of the activities as before, and we’ve also been able to reduce the prices.
We also have two new weekends, starting with Champagne this month – two whole days of bubbly enjoyment, including visits to both 3D Champagne houses, as well as the magnificent Taittinger cellars. The second new event is in Troon, Ayrshire (20th – 22nd April), and, like our popular Cragwood weekend in the Lake District, plenty of good food and wines are the fare of the day. The Piersland House Hotel is a Grade A listed building in a delightful situation near Culzean Castle. And as home to the British Open, there is golf nearby and cream teas… to help us tee off!
