Hautes Côtes de Beaune blanc Les Larrets
The white Hautes Côtes de Beaune blanc Les Larrets is an oak-aged Chardonnay of which Jean-Michel is particularly proud. A period of ageing on the lees gives it a creaminess that is quite beguiling. It is made exclusively from grapes grown in the Les Larrets vineyard near Échevronne, which Jean-Michel planted in 1992. It has come to be known as the 'pigs' wine' as the vineyard is regularly visited by wild boar who seem to have developed a taste for it!
