Rully Blanc
The village of Rully is sandwiched neatly between the villages of Bouzeron and Mercurey. It is certainly a tasty filling: its white wines made from the Chardonnay grape and grown on light sandy soil are some of the most elegant in the Côte Chalonnaise. Our wine is unoaked and matured entirely in stainless steel cuves to develop its depth of fruit. It is a smooth, delicate wine with hints of exotic fruits (lychee) and gentle lemon flavours to excite the palate. The locals describe it as an 'artistic wine - gentle, fruity and flowery'. Delicious when sipped on its own while savouring life's quieter moments, this wine will also give much pleasure as an accompaniment to a wide range of dishes - foie gras, poultry, charcuterie or mild cheese are all good matches.
